About the Role
Team Dynamic Minds is hiring a Child Development Assistant to work one-on-one with autistic children using relationship-based, play-centered approaches. This position focuses on connection, communication, and real-life learning in the childs home and community. Training and mentoring provided.
What You Will Do
- Engage children in play and everyday activities
- Support communication, social connection, and self-regulation
- Follow individualized developmental plans
- Build positive relationships with children and families
- Write brief session notes and track progress
- Receive coaching and supervision
Who We Are Looking For
- Kind, patient, and enthusiastic about working with children
- Experience with children required, autism experience a plus
- Reliable and able to keep a consistent schedule
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 18 years old
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree plus one year experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- OR High School Diploma and three years experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- A positive, patient, and proactive attitude.
- Willingness to complete background check and fingerprinting.
