We are looking for a compassionate in-home caregiver in Boone County to join our growing team!

We’re looking for a compassionate, experienced caregiver to provide one-on-one care for a bed-bound hospice client. Responsibilities include bed baths, safe repositioning, toileting, and personal care, with patience and sensitivity for clients who may resist care at times.

This is a rewarding opportunity to provide comfort, dignity, and expert support in a home hospice setting. CNA experience or prior hospice care preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and companionship.
• Provide support with personal care services, including bath assistance and grooming.
• Providing bed baths and assistance with toileting using a bedpan
• Help clients with mobility and transportation needs.
• Gentle repositioning with verbal cues to ensure comfort and safety
• Keep accurate records of care provided and any changes in client condition.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every single day
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
• Experience with bed-bound or hospice clients is essential
• Supportive and compassionate
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• CNA certification or similar clinical experience preferred
• Take pride in providing high quality care
