Legal Assistant – Transactional
Location: Tampa, FL
Salary: $65,000–$70,000/year
Schedule: On-site for the first 90 days, then hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 days remote)
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dynamic Legal Assistant to support our Franchise and Corporate legal team in Tampa. This role is ideal for a professional with experience in transactional law who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work while building strong relationships across the team.
Responsibilities include:

Providing administrative and legal support to attorneys in the transactional practice

Drafting, editing, and proofreading legal documents and correspondence

Managing attorney calendars, coordinating meetings, and arranging travel

Maintaining and organizing client files, both physical and electronic

Assisting with billing, time entry, and expense reporting

Supporting transactional closings and related documentation

Conducting basic legal research as needed
Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Legal Assistant or Executive Assistant, preferably in transactional law

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Strong grammar, spelling, and written/verbal communication skills

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing assignments

Professional demeanor and client-service orientation

Experience with document management and time entry systems is a plus
Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
