A precision manufacturing company near Charlotte, NC is looking for a Manufacturing Planner who thrives in a high-mix, low-volume environment. This is a full-time, salaried role with relocation assistance for well-qualified candidates.
What You’ll Do:
- Own and manage the Master Production Schedule (MPS) for Mill, Lathe, and EDM departments
- Release daily/weekly shipping lists aligned to priorities
- Generate and manage detailed process documentation
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Purchasing, and Production
- React quickly to schedule shifts from engineering changes or disruptions
- Help maintain tooling and raw material availability
✅ What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of manufacturing/production planning experience in a machining environment
- Bachelor’s in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field
- Strong ERP/MES experience (Epicor or ProShop is a bonus)
- Confident working with CNC job routing, BOMs, and capacity planning
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
- Organized, communicative, and calm under pressure
⭐ Bonus Points For:
- PMP certification or project management experience
- AS9100 familiarity
- 5-Axis / Multi-Axis machining exposure
- GD&T certification
