Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Attorney with a minimum of 3 years of relevant legal experience to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will be licensed to practice law in the state of Florida and have a strong background in corporate law, including experience with contract negotiation, corporate governance, compliance, and general business advisory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and guidance on a wide range of corporate matters, including business formation, structuring, and corporate governance.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, including vendor agreements, NDAs, partnership agreements, and licensing deals.
- Support M&A transactions, due diligence, and post-acquisition integration activities.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations applicable to business operations.
- Collaborate with internal departments including finance, HR, and executive leadership to support strategic initiatives.
- Assist in developing internal policies and training programs to mitigate legal risk.
- Stay current on relevant legal and regulatory developments and provide proactive guidance to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active member in good standing of the Florida Bar (required).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing corporate law, either at a law firm, in-house legal department, or a combination of both.
- Strong knowledge of corporate, contract, and business law.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior in-house counsel experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience in hospitality, cruise, or travel industries is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with employment law, data privacy, and intellectual property matters is an advantage.
- Experience in regulated industries (e.g., travel, finance, healthcare, technology) is a plus.
