About You
You are an experienced design technology professional with advanced expertise in Revit and AutoCAD. You take a hands-on approach to developing, coordinating, and maintaining detailed security design models and documentation across multiple projects. You bring structure, precision, and consistency to every stage of the design process. You are proactive in improving internal workflows, mentoring through collaboration, and ensuring design quality that reflects ADRM’s high standards of excellence. You’re passionate about advancing security design through thoughtful execution, innovation, and technical mastery.
Requirements:
- Serve as the senior BIM lead on projects, taking ownership of model accuracy, coordination, and quality while supporting and mentoring others on the design team through collaboration and guidance
- Contribute to the evolution of ADRM’s BIM and design standards, recommending improvements to workflows, templates, and best practices
- Effectively manage multiple project models of varying size and duration
- Perform advanced clash detection, coordination reviews, and model audits using Navisworks Manage, providing actionable feedback
- Collaborate closely with teams across ADRM and client stakeholders to ensure technical alignment, clear communication, and on-time deliverables
- Develop detailed design documentation, including Revit and AutoCAD drawings, countermeasure layouts, cabling and conduit schedules, device typicals, risers, and specifications
- Support the growth of ADRM’s BIM capabilities through mentorship, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement of design processes and resources
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering/Engineering Technology, Construction Management, Architecture/Architectural technology, Computer Aided Drafting and Design, or equivalent or related experience
- 5+ years of experience in a Design and Production environment
- Security industry experience required, with an understanding of physical security systems, design standards, and client environments
- Experience leading small teams and developing internal resources, with the ability to mentor, delegate, and support professional growth
- Proficient with Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks and Bluebeam Revu applications
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work both independently and in a team oriented collaborative environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills
- Hard working and dedicated to absolute customer satisfaction
- Ability to maintain professional and positive behavior
- Ability to focus for long periods of time
- Able to pass a comprehensive background check and integrity interview
