Job Summary
As a Mechanical Assembler with PPG Quality, youll be hands-on in creating essential respiratory safety products. From ventilation blowers to ambient air pumps and breathing air panels, youll transform components into life-saving equipment that supports workers across industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble ventilation blowers, ambient air pumps, air filtration panels, supplied air respirators, and other respiratory products from parts and sub-assemblies
- Test products to ensure performance and compliance with specifications
- Package finished goods for shipment
- Monitor inventory shortages and report to supervisor
- Maintain a safe, organized workspace and handle equipment responsibly
- Support team needs with flexibility, including overtime
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to follow detailed drawings, written instructions, and verbal guidance
- Skilled with hand tools (manual, pneumatic, and electrical), calibration devices, and air gauges
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Solid math skills with whole numbers
