As a Mechanical Estimator, you will be an integral part of our preconstruction team, contributing to a variety of exciting projects under the guidance of a preconstruction manager. We're a growing local firm with a steady pipeline of work, and we're hiring multiple estimators to keep up with demand. What You Will Be Doing
- Support mechanical projects from conceptual planning through closeout
- Review mechanical drawings in collaboration with designers or drafters (this is not a design role)
- Coordinate with equipment vendors and verify technical drawings
- Attend project site visits, field inspections, factory acceptance testing, and site acceptance testing
- Assist project managers with status reports and other assigned duties
What You Need for this Position
- A strong desire to build a lasting career in mechanical construction
- Experience in mechanical construction or design is a plus
- Engineering degree or equivalent field experience preferred
