Position: Special Education Teacher
Location: Bolingbrook, Illinois
Duration: Full-Time, 2025-2026 School Year
Hours: Monday-Friday 7:15am-2:25pm (37.5 hours guaranteed per week)

- Providing direct instruction in the whole class setting, small group setting, and through 1:1 sessions

- Monitor and provide IEP accommodations
- Write and Manage IEP's, Collect Data, Progress Monitor
Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team for the upcoming school year. You will collaborate with educators, parents, and specialists to ensure every student receives the personalized attention and resources necessary to thrive academically and socially.
Responsibilities:

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.

Support students with diverse learning needs to ensure access to a rigorous and engaging ELA curriculum.

Utilize a variety of instructional techniques and technologies to engage students in meaningful learning experiences.

Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.

Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and goals.
Qualifications:

Valid Illinois Professional Educators License with LBS1 Endorsement

Experience working with HighSchool students and ELA Curriculum

Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
-
Experience with assistive technology and adaptive equipment.

Knowledge of behavior management techniques and positive behavior support strategies.

Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
