Self-Direction DSP - Baldwinsville Area (Job #ES-KT)

ARISE is seeking a Direct Support Professional to serve as a Fulltime Com Hab DSP in the Baldwinsville area.

Shifts will be Monday through Friday.... 8am to 4pm, 40 hours per week. Applicants who can be flexible is a huge plus for occasional schedule needs.

She requires total assistance with activities of daily life due to a physical disability and always utilizes a wheelchair both in the home and community. The individual is looking for reliable, compassionate and responsible staff to assist her with maintaining her independence both at home and in the community. Some responsibilities include... assisting with Personal Care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, taking her to some medical appointments and other activities in the community.

She has an indoor cat that lives in the home and is very important to her.

New hires will have training shifts on transfers using an electric sit-to-stand/track system. New hires must have a driver's license, as you will be driving her modified minivan.

The current pay rate is $20.25.

Background check, fingerprinting and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by the non-profit agency.
