Local Manufacturing Company / Draftsman
Pay: $19-$22/hour Depending on Experience
Hours: Monday - Friday 7am-5:00pm
Job Duties:
- Drafting, Generate prints and plans from sketches and models to meet design requirements.
- Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings and simple wiring diagrams.
- Reconciles problems on drawings by identifying work error messages and coordinating with co-workers on priority items.
- Prototype hardware fabrication and testing.
- BOM part maintenance.
- Other duties to help with Engineering and Production.
- Willing to quickly switch between multiple engineering disciplines: Electrical, Mechanical, Software.
- Willing to work as a very close team, to offer/receive suggestions and critique, to strive for excellence.
Job Requirements:·
- Requires detailed mechanical knowledge
- 2+ years’ experience working in a manufacturing, procurement, or customer service related capacity.
- Thorough knowledge of Solidworks 3D and Autocad as it applies to Sheet Metal fabrication, welded assemblies and machining.
- Ability to interact with corporate customers and experience with Visual software for Manufacturing a plus.
Applicant Requirements:
- Must be able to pass a drug screen.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Drafting, Mechanical Engineering studies desired.
