Job Description

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a strong technical background and excellent communication skills. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our employees, ensuring timely and effective technical support. This is an excellent opportunity to help guide and grow the technological aspects of a growing successful food business.

Essential Functions

  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for hardware and software issues via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Windows 10/11 issues, including OS performance, application crashes, and user profile problems.
  • Manage user accounts and groups within Active Directory, including creating, modifying, and disabling accounts and resetting passwords.
  • Configure and support networking hardware and software, including diagnosing basic connectivity issues, IP addressing, and VPN setup.
  • Provide comprehensive support for Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Setup, support and maintain Microsoft SharePoint and OneDrive environments, including user access management, file synchronization, and permissions configuration.
  • Utilize AI tools and automation to improve help desk efficiency, enhance business processes and suggest areas of improvement.
  • Document all support activities and resolutions in our ticketing system.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary.

Qualifications

Background Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience in a help desk or IT support role.
  • Proven expertise with Windows 10/11 troubleshooting and support.
  • Hands-on experience with Active Directory user and group management.
  • Experience with SharePoint and OneDrive setup, configuration, maintenance and best practices.
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and automation in IT support and across organization.
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator.
  • Experience with ticketing systems like Jira Service Management, D365CRM, or ServiceNow.
  • Familiarity with remote desktop software (e.g., TeamViewer, Remote Desktop Connection).

  • This role is on-site 5x/week.
