Job Title: Process Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Process Technician to join our team in a dynamic pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This role involves performing diversified chemical processes under the guidance of a Shift Lead or Engineer, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and utilizing both batch and continuous manufacturing methods. The position requires a commitment to a twenty-four-hour rotating shift schedule.
Responsibilities
- Perform chemical and pharmaceutical processing using a variety of equipment.
- Operate a wide range of chemical process and utility equipment and systems.
- Maintain documentation according to GMPs and procedures for equipment, facilities, and production records.
- Conduct equipment and room cleaning and sampling.
- Perform manufacturing housekeeping, waste removal, and inventory management.
- Support various inspections as required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelors degree in engineering, or 2-3 years of experience in chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing

- Experience with GMP and documentation review
Work Environment
You will be working with teams of four supervisors and a team of technicians. The work schedule consists of four 12-hour shifts in a 2-3-2 pattern, alternating day and night shifts every two weeks, with initial training on the day shift for the first two weeks. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $40.00/hr.
