Engineer- Generator Base Tank Fabrication:

Newberry Tanks is currently looking for a design engineer for our Mid-South manufacturing facilities. We are currently looking to increase the breadth of our product lines and looking for engineering resources with knowledge of on-site power generation equipment & technology design. Specifically Day Tanks, Sub-Base Tanks, Fuel Supply Systems and Controls. Knowledge of, and experience designing products that conform to UL 142 and UL 2085.

Generator Sub-Base Tank, Day Tank, Fuel Supply Systems Design & Fabrication

We will:

  • This is a Contract Position we will pay competitively

You will:

  • Be experienced with on-site power generation industry, equipment, and technologies.
  • Perform design or modification of products to meet market needs and fabrication capabilities.
  • Prepare technical design drawings, bills of material, and collaborate with operations in developing manufacturing standards.
  • Establish detail layout, drawings, quality standards.
  • Coordinate specification development and standards qualification testing.
  • Recommend capital equipment changes or additions to support superior quality capability.
  • Interact with manufacturing to develop work instructions, product and production specifications.
  • Employ lean methodologies and tools.

You should:

  • Be familiar with parametric mechanical design, familiarity with Solidworks or other 3D modeling software.
  • Have a degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Be experienced with on-site power generation industry, equipment, and technologies.
