Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Geotechnical Project Engineer to manage and execute geotechnical engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and experience with geotechnical analysis and design. This role involves working closely with clients and project teams to ensure successful project delivery, while adhering to industry standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct geotechnical investigations and analyses to support project design and construction.
- Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD, Slope-W, Settle 3D, and PLAXIS 2D for modeling and simulations.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation, including project specifications and design calculations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop effective project solutions and designs.
- Perform fieldwork and site assessments to monitor soil conditions and compliance with engineering standards.
- Ensure project timelines and budgets are met while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is required.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Slope-W, Settle 3D, and PLAXIS 2D software.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in geotechnical engineering or related field.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- MS in Civil Engineering and additional experience with Slide software are preferred.
