Duties
- Provide personal care and support, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor the health and safety of clients, ensuring their needs are met promptly.
- Assist with mobility and heavy lifting as required, ensuring clients are safely moved or positioned.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental well-being.
- Support clients with dementia care, employing appropriate techniques to manage behavior and enhance communication.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for clients, ensuring hygiene standards are upheld.
- Document client progress and report any changes in condition to relevant healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in caregiving is required.
- Knowledge of CPR and first aid is a plus.
- Assist clients with physical mobility
- Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy, patience, and understanding.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
