Annual Compensation Range: $57,000-$67,000

We have an opportunity for a Coatings Production Technician. The technician will perform daily manufacturing operations to make the coatings that will be applied to medical devices. These products will be made in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices, ISO requirements, and appropriate regulatory agencies.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manufacture coating products according to specifications and standard procedures.
- Complete transactions in our inventory management system in an accurate and timely manner.
- Use materials in an efficient and responsible manner to reduce waste.
- Ensure accurate completion and review of quality documentation (BPRs, logbooks, etc.) as required by cGMP.
- Identify possible deviation occurrences and aid in investigations.
- Maintain a safe and clean workspace environment.
- Report all safety issues, concerns, incidents, and near misses to the team’s leadership.
- Review and follow the established production schedule to ensure fulfillment of customer orders.
- Identify all production issues and relay them to the leadership team.
- Monitor and communicate any raw material or equipment shortages or equipment calibration issues.
- Identify and communicate opportunities for process improvements and provide solutions.
- Provide feedback on any required BPRs and SOPs updates to improve clarity.
Skills & Requirements:
- High school diploma required.
- Experience in a technical discipline with minimum 1-2 years of lab experience or experience in a manufacturing, process development or production environment is preferred.
- Ability to operate in a cleanroom and laboratory environment which includes wearing appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Strong focus on safety and customer service.
- Ability to work and communicate in a team environment in a professional and respectful manner.
- Self-starter, organized.
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow written procedures.
- Computer literate, Microsoft Office package, email, internet, spreadsheets.
