Location: Duncan, SC

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Type: Full-Time

Pay: $18–$22/hr BOE

Express Spartanburg is hiring for a client.

If you enjoy hands-on work, have an eye for detail, and like building equipment that actually does something, this role might be a great fit. You’ll assemble electrical components, use hand tools daily, and help keep production moving smoothly in a clean, organized shop.

What You’ll Do

• Assemble electrical equipment ranging from basic builds to complex systems

• Align, fit, and assemble components using hand and power tools

• Interpret electrical drawings, schematics, prints, and wiring diagrams

• Confirm materials and report shortages as needed

• Perform functional tests and final calibration of equipment

• Complete self-inspections and sign off on routing sheets

• Use cranes/forklifts to move equipment (training provided)

• Log jobs using a computer-based system

• Requisition materials and supplies as needed

• Maintain a neat, safe work area

• Support other departments when required

• Document issues and communicate with Engineering during assembly

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 1 year of electrical/electronic assembly experience

• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics

• Strong attention to detail and basic math skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for an 8-hour shift

• Comfortable using hand tools, pallet jacks, and similar equipment

• Computer-literate (Windows/Microsoft products)

• Reliable, safety-minded, and a team player

• Able to bend, stoop, and identify color-coded wiring
