A mid-size law firm located in Seattle is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its team. This role offers the chance to work on a variety of Civil Defense cases including Product/Premises Liability and Complex Personal Injury matters.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed chronologies of medical records
  • Communicate with clients, attorneys, court personnel, experts, and other legal professionals
  • Draft authorizations, stipulations, correspondence, memoranda, discovery, pleadings, and related documents
  • Organize, review, and summarize large volumes of medical records
  • Conduct research on medical issues, jury verdicts, and expert witnesses
  • Manage deadlines and oversee the discovery process
  • Provide regular case status updates to the team
  • Assist with deposition and trial preparation as needed

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of paralegal experience, preferably in civil litigation or personal injury defense cases
  • Strong knowledge of local and state court rules and the discovery process
  • Proficiency in MS Office (including PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to bill time accurately
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Trial preparation experience is a plus
