Associate Attorney - Medical Malpractice
Location: Uniondale, NY - Hybrid (WFH Monday & Friday)
Salary: $125k-$180k
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Associate Attorney to join our personal injury law firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury law and be passionate about advocating for clients. This role will involve working closely with senior attorneys to provide high-quality legal representation and support to clients in various personal injury cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and management of personal injury cases from inception to resolution.
- Conduct legal research and drafting of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing them with updates and guidance throughout their cases.
- Participate in depositions, mediations, and court appearances as necessary.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and ensure effective representation.
- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting personal injury cases.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice law in the relevant state.
- 1+ years of experience in personal injury law, with a focus on litigation.
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in medical malpractice, motor vehicle, and nursing home defense cases is a plus.
