Job Summary:
The T-Shirt Printing Technician is responsible for producing custom apparel using heat press and vinyl cutting equipment. This role involves preparing and cutting vinyl designs, weeding, aligning graphics, pressing garments, and performing quality inspections to ensure products meet company standards. The technician must work efficiently, maintain attention to detail, and uphold safety and quality in a fast-paced production environment.
Hours/Pay: Temp 1-2 month assignment, full-time/part-time schedule available (flexible for the right candidate!) $19.00/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heat press and vinyl cutting machines to apply designs, logos, and lettering to garments.
- Prepare and weed vinyl transfers, ensuring accurate alignment and application.
- Use design software (e.g., FlexiSIGN, CorelDraw, Adobe Illustrator) to create and adjust layouts.
- Perform quality checks for accuracy, durability, and visual presentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and track inventory of materials.
- Follow safety procedures and meet daily production goals.
Qualifications:
- Experience with heat press or vinyl cutting machines preferred
- Knowledge of design/cutting software.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for long periods
Work Environment:
Manufacturing/production setting with heat exposure; PPE required.
