We are currently seeking a seasoned Permanent Plaintiff's PI Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This is an outstanding opportunity for an individual passionate about advocating for the rights of plaintiffs in personal injury cases. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a caseload from start to finish, including managing all aspects of litigation, negotiation, and settlement processes. This position requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in the legal industry, specifically working with plaintiffs in the personal injury sector.
Responsibilities
As a Permanent Plaintiff's PI Attorney, your responsibilities will include:
1. Representing clients in court or before government agencies.
2. Presenting evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in personal injury litigation.
3. Interpreting laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
4. Conducting legal research and gathering evidence.
5. Ensuring a comprehensive understanding of personal injury law and staying updated on current trends and legal developments.
6. Preparing legal briefs and opinions, and filing appeals in state and federal courts of appeal.
7. Negotiating settlements for legal disputes.
8. Complying with all legal standards and regulations.
9. Performing administrative and management functions related to the practice of law.
Qualifications
The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a plaintiff's personal injury attorney.
3. Strong experience with litigation and plaintiffs.
4. Admission to the State Bar.
5. Proven track record of success in personal injury cases.
6. Excellent negotiation skills.
7. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
9. Proficiency in legal research software and case management systems.
10. Demonstrated ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality.
11. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
