INSTALL-IT-DIRECT — San Diego’s premier outdoor living design-build firm for 16+ years — is expanding our elite sales team. We are looking for a high-performance closer who thrives on selling big-ticket outdoor living projects to affluent homeowners.
If you’re driven, polished, and want to earn $150,000–$300,000+ per year, this is the role.
Compensation
- 100% commission (uncapped)
- $150,000–$300,000+ earning potential
- Monthly & quarterly bonuses

What You’ll Do
- Work pre-qualified, inbound leads — no cold calling
- Conduct onsite consultations with homeowners
- Capture site measurements and prepare 2D/3D design concepts
- Present solutions & pricing on follow-up Google Meet sessions
- Follow a proven two-appointment close system
- Sell complete outdoor living projects: pavers, turf, patios, kitchens, pergolas, lighting, and more
- Maintain relationships with clients and drive referrals
- Collaborate with our experienced Project Management team (you ONLY sell — no build oversight)
Who We’re Looking For
- 2–5+ years in outside sales
- Experience in home improvement, remodeling, or construction preferred
- Strong consultative selling skills
- Ability to learn our design software (ArcSite, SketchUp, VizTerra, etc. — we will train)
- Clean, professional communication & presence
- Self-motivated, organized, and competitive
- Able to consistently execute a structured sales process
Your Performance Targets
- $100,000+ in monthly sold revenue by Month 3
- 30%+ close rate once fully ramped
- Strong follow-up and pipeline discipline
- Ability to manage 12–18 appointments per month
