Turner Industries Group is looking for a Scaffold Foreman to join our nested maintenance team at a site in the Pampa Texas area. This role will be responsible for nested scaffold employees at the job site.
Job Duties include but are not limited to:
- Execution of Turner Safety programs
- General work execution and productivity of soft crafts, including scaffolding, insulation, and paint
- Interface with client representatives about day to day operation at the site
- Coordinate offsite Turner services when they mobilize to the site
- Coordinate craft training and overall workforce improvement

- Per diem and relocation are not available for this position - must be local to the Pampa area.
Functional Requirements:
Directs craft workforce effort to ensure site is maintained in accordance with design, budget and schedule-includes interfacing with client representatives; plans, coordinates and supervises on-site functions including scheduling, engineering, material control, etc.; provides technical assistance, such as interpretation of drawings, as required; assists project management in developing and implementing project procedures, standards, etc.; ensures all on-site personnel comply with project procedures, safety program requirements, work rules, company standards, etc. Documents all violations, notifies project management and recommends/implements corrective actions as required; assumes responsibility for productivity of employees, efficient use of materials and equipment and contractual performance of the job; interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations; analyzes and resolves work related problems; performs additional duties as required; establishes and adjusts work sequences to meet construction schedule, using knowledge of capacities of equipment and assigned personnel; performs additional assignments as required.
Qualification Standards:
- Four (4) or more years of experience demonstrating growth in responsibility
- Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation
- Turner industries orientation
- OSHA approved corrective eye wear (Z87)
- Job site orientation
- Job site safety requirements as required by the client (clean shaven, long sleeves, steel toe boots, etc.)
- Safety equipment as required by the client (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, respirator, hearing protection, safety harness with lanyard, etc.)
- Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of such individual or others in the work place
Physical/Mental Involvement:
Employee may be required to do the following: reaching in all directions, handling and manipulating objects and materials; standing; sitting; walking; seeing with or without correction; hearing with or without correction; following set procedures and standards; applying basic mathematical skills; planning work; comparing and understanding differences in the size, shape and form of lines, figures and objects; picturing and evaluating solid objects from drawings or diagrams using standards that can be measured or checked; following oral and/or written directions, plans and blueprints; reading; writing; ability to recognize and report safety hazards.
Work Environment Factors:
· Location: industrial construction sites/and or office environment
· Mobility Barriers to Access Job Site: uneven ground level; obstructed pathways
· Climatic/Environmental Conditions at Job Site: predominately outdoor climate; may be exposed to extreme hot or cold weather, excessive humidity, rain, etc.; various noise levels caused by tools, machinery, equipment, etc.; potential exposure to chemical substances
