Nissan Parts Counter Representative

Nissan of Richardson is seeking a Parts Counter Representative to join our fast-growing team. The Counter Representative is the primary interface between the service department customers and employees to sell the required parts and accessories. This individual must be meticulous, prioritizing, and team-oriented while having the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assists with receipts and dispatches of goods for the Parts Department. The Parts Counter Representative ensures order accuracy and maintains inventory.
  • Supports in determining needs and accurately classifying parts. The Parts Counter Representative creates and modifies purchase orders for the appreciative party to order parts.
  • Aids with processing and closing open invoices. The Parts Counter Representative compares invoices against requisitions to verity quality and quantity of merchandise received.
  • Recognizes the flow of incoming and outgoing materials to meet productivity objectives and ensures the steady flow of materials in the supply chain.

Employee Prerequisites:

  • Onboarding process completed within days of applying!
  • Stands, walks, or sits for a long period without resting. (Up to 5 hours) Must have the capability to leave up to 100 pounds.
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
  • Prior Nissan parts training or experience is preferred. Pay based on experience.
  • Working hours specifications: Monday-Friday, 7:00 am-5:00 pm (1-hour lunch); Every 3rd Saturday, 7:00 am-5:00 pm (company-provided lunch, no lunch break)
  • Bilingualism (Spanish) is an essential component; both languages are expected to possess strong fluency.
