Role Overview:
Are you driven by a passion to resolve mechanical challenges and enhance vehicle longevity? This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel tractors and trailers with precision and skill. Following SOPs, you will make informed decisions about repairs and replacements.
Main Duties and Tasks:
- Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on various diesel fleet equipment
- Diagnose issues and perform necessary maintenance tasks
- Document all maintenance activities and repairs comprehensively
- Ensure vehicles are compliant with licensing requirements
- Install and service digital components onboard vehicles
- Employ both manual and power tools effectively
Qualifications Needed:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least two years of experience or equivalent in relevant fields
- Possession of personal tools as per requirements
- Valid driver’s license and conforming driving record
- Willingness to work flexible hours
- Capability with computers and related software
- Proficiency in English for communication and documentation
