We are seeking a reliable LubeTechnician/ Shop Assistant to join our dedicated two-bay independent repair facility. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with the owner, perform basic automotive maintenance and other shop duties while maintaining a high standard of quality and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who values a clean, efficient workspace and is interested in future shop management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform oil changes: Perform oil changes, filter checks and replacement, and basic inspections.
- Shop Assistant : Assist other Technicians with more complex repairs, test drives, and customer shuttle service.
- Quality and Efficiency: Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-conscious work environment that promotes maximum shop efficiency, including a clean office and shop space.
- Team Support: Actively participate in overall shop operations, including general maintenance, organization, and other tasks outside of normal duties, supporting a cohesive team atmosphere.
- Future Leadership: Serve as the designated leader during the owner's absence, overseeing operations and maintaining workflow integrity. Incudes expanded capabilities related to parts ordering and look up, phone support, writing service orders, and getting additional certifications.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Experience: Experience in a professional shop environment related to oil changes and automotive maintenance.
- Tooling: Preferred own tools required for job tasks
- Dependability: Possess a valid state driver's license and reliable personal transportation.
- Core Values: Must be inherently trustworthy, reliable, and dependable with a strong commitment to ethical work practices.
Additional:
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
