Minimum 1+ years Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist experience and ARRT certification required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position seeks a skilled Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist to support adult and geriatric patients in a combined IR/Cardiology/Vascular/EP lab setting. The role involves assisting providers during diagnostic and interventional procedures, primarily focusing on IR tasks with occasional cardiology procedures. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience and the required certifications to deliver expert care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of IR technologist experience, with 90% of duties in Interventional Radiology
- Certifications required: ACLS, BCLS, and ARRT or RCISP
- Competence in scrubbing and circulating during IR/Cath Lab and cardiology procedures
- Experience with telemetry and EKG lead placement preferred
- Advanced certifications such as ARRT Advanced, RCES, or RCIS with medical experience are a plus

Responsibilities:
- Support providers in performing urgent and emergent cardiology and interventional radiology procedures
- Scrub and circulate in IR and cardiology labs, adhering strictly to safety and quality protocols
- Respond promptly to call requirements for STEMIs and interventional procedures, maintaining a 30-minute callback window
- Collaborate with a call team including an RN, with no float responsibilities
- Follow strict guidelines regarding time-off and onsite attendance
Schedule & Contract Details:
- 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- Call duties twice a week on weekdays (4 PM to 7:30 AM) plus one weekend call per month
- Every third weekend required
- Contract length: 13-20 weeks with no holiday release time off (RTO)
- Scrubs provided on site
