Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required, first-time travelers accepted
\n• Patient population ranges from neonates to geriatrics
\n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH
\n• Additional preferred certifications: TNCC, ENPC, CPI
\n• Patient ratio: 1:4 across all shifts (days, nights, weekends)
\n• 59 rooms with average 250 visits per day
\n• Level 3 trauma center in process, primary stroke, CHF, STEMI, chest pain center
\n• Use Epic charting system, Pyxis, SBAR communication
\n• Navy blue scrubs required
\n• Maximum 7 days requested time off
\n• Every other weekend required
\n• Floating to other units required
\n• No call requirements
\n• Holiday work required based on assignment period (1-2 holidays = work all, 3 holidays = work 2)
\n• 12 hours of orientation required
\n• Skills include care of ventilated patients, continuous IV sedation, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, procedural sedation, and triage
\n• Work with interdisciplinary team including PT, respiratory, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams

The facility maintains high standards as a Level 3 trauma center in process and holds designations as a primary stroke center, CHF center, STEMI center, and chest pain center. The emergency department features 59 rooms and handles an average of 250 patient visits daily, supported by advanced medical equipment and a full range of interdisciplinary services including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams.
