The Desert Highlands Association is looking for a Locker Room Attendant to join their Team! This positions are seasonal and we are looking for candidates who are available to work thru our busier season ending May or June. Other opportunities may be available at the end of this period.

Primary Purpose:

The Locker Room Attendant’s purpose is to serve the membership and their guests. This includes; food and beverage service, shoe care, general maintenance, and upkeep of the men’s’ and women’ locker rooms.

Essential Functions:

1. Pick up newspapers at security in the morning.

2. Set up snacks and coffee in men’s locker room in the morning; set up snacks, coffee, and water station in women’s locker room in the morning. Set up oatmeal station in the lower hallway.

3. Restock all vanity products and towel supply.

4. Do laundry to maintain clean supply of folded bath towels and wash cloths.

5. Performs personal services such as shoe shines, replacing golf shoe spikes and laces, and minor shoe repair.

6. Provides for the safety and security of all members and guests personal property.

7. Provide bartending and food service for members and guests. Also deliver on course drinks upon request.

8. Check in liquor/beer deliveries.

9. Help maintain liquor and food supply inventory.

10. Takes and delivers phone messages for members and guests.

11. Clean and maintain complete locker room (grill and locker area) which includes; sweeping floors, picking up trash, bussing tables, and picking up towels from men and women bathroom.

12. Maintain cleanliness of vanity area.

13. Make popcorn on a daily basis.

14. Maintain neat and orderly locker area. (Straightening of shoes, furniture and general clean up).

15. Be well-groomed and in proper uniform.

16. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

· No prior experience or training.

· Reliable and predictable attendance.

· Must be Nineteen Years of Age (To serve alcohol).

· Present a positive, professional image.

· Must be self-motivated and customer service oriented.

· Strong interpersonal as well as written and oral communication skills.

· Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions; skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.


Physical Demands & Work Environment-

· Position is in busy, non-smoking clubhouse locker room in a private residential community in N. Scottsdale.

· Must be able to frequently sit, stand, bend, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, color vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus, and walk.

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., and to lift overhead and push/pull, move lighter objects.
