Job Description

The Family Practice with Obstetrics (FPOB) Physician provides comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, with a focus on prenatal, perinatal, and postpartum care.

Responsibilities include delivering full-spectrum family medicine—wellness exams, chronic disease management, urgent care, and minor procedures—along with obstetric services such as prenatal visits, labor management, deliveries, and postpartum follow-up.

The role involves caring for newborns and pediatric patients, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, participating in quality improvement and community outreach, and ensuring accurate documentation in the EHR.

Qualifications include an MD or DO degree, completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency, additional obstetric training or competency, current unrestricted medical license, and board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine. Certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and ALSO are preferred. The physician will participate in hospital call schedules, including after-hours and weekends.
