Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Float Pool position requiring a MI RN license and ACLS/BCLS certifications.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work as a float RN within the Medical Surgical Float Pool
- Float to multiple units including AU, OSU, GSU, NVU, CAR, GMU, AMU, and EMCU, and care for overflow Med Surg/IMC patients in CC units
- Standard patient ratios are 4-6:1 on Med/Surg units
- Night shifts, 4x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30
- Every other weekend is required
- Block scheduling is not available
- Must be available for orientation during the first two weeks of the assignment
- Must be comfortable with varying Med/Surg patient ratios
- Only one holiday request off permitted; cannot request both the holiday and surrounding days off
- Opportunities available to pick up additional shifts
- Required to work with diverse Med/Surg patient populations across units

- Active MI RN license required
- Current BCLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications required
- Minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg RN experience required
- Open to first-time travelers
