Job Description

Overview

Rumble Boxing Trainers are the heartbeat of the studio — the energy-givers, the motivators, the keep-you-coming-back leaders who deliver high-intensity, music-driven boxing + strength workouts that feel like a party with purpose. Trainers create unforgettable class experiences, build authentic community, and uphold the Rumble brand with excellence, consistency, and joy.

Core Responsibilities

1. Coaching & Class Execution

  • Deliver high-energy, Rumble-standard 45-minute boxing + strength classes with exceptional cueing, musicality, and confidence.
  • Follow Rumble’s programming with accuracy while adding your own flair and personality.
  • Manage class flow, transitions, and timing with excellence (no rogue playlists, no random AMRAPs — we stay on brand).
  • Monitor participant form, safety, and engagement at all times.
  • Provide modifications, progressions, and encouragement for all fitness levels.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, organized studio before, during, and after each class.

2. Community Building & Member Engagement

  • Create a welcoming environment where every member feels seen, supported, and celebrated.
  • Learn member names, familiar faces, injuries, goals, and wins.
  • Engage with members before and after class — photos, fist bumps, high-fives, genuine conversation.
  • Encourage retention by building relationships and inviting members back for their next class.

3. Brand Standards & Professionalism

  • Represent the Rumble brand with energy, positivity, professionalism, and consistency.
  • Adhere to studio policies, programming, music guidelines, and safety standards.
  • Arrive early, prepared, and fully briefed on the workout.
  • Maintain appropriate Rumble-approved attire and fit-pro appearance.
  • Embrace feedback and ongoing development opportunities.

4. Studio Support (As Needed)

  • Assist with class check-in, glove sales, and member questions when appropriate.
  • Support studio events, grassroots efforts, pop-ups, and community outreach as requested.
  • Participate in content creation (photos, videos, social reels) in alignment with brand standards.

Qualifications

Required

  • Strong fitness background and/or prior group fitness teaching experience.
  • Ability to lead high-energy classes with confidence, charisma, and clarity.
  • Passion for boxing, strength training, music, and community.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Willingness to complete Rumble’s mandatory Trainer Training + shadowing process.

Preferred

  • Boxing or combat training experience.
  • Personal training certification (NASM, ACE, ISSA, etc.).
  • Experience teaching in a boutique fitness setting.

Personal Attributes

We’re looking for trainers who are:

  • Naturally energetic and encouraging — the kind of person who can hype up a room at 5 AM without scaring people.
  • Quick-thinking, poised, and able to manage a fast-paced environment.
  • Coachable, humble, and adaptable — open to growth and continuous improvement.
  • Community-minded and people-first.
  • Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
  • Able to bring faith-forward encouragement and integrity if appropriate within the team culture.
  • Passionate about helping people get better — physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Schedule & Availability

  • Must be able to teach at least 2–4 classes per week.
  • Availability for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holiday classes as scheduled.
  • Willingness to support pop-up events and grassroots outreach.

Compensation

  • Per-class tiered rate ($60-$85)
  • Special event or workshop bonuses
  • Content creation opportunities
