Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Imaging experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This outpatient clinic position in Goose Creek, SC offers an opportunity to perform both screening and diagnostic mammograms using Siemens Revelations and Hologic Dimension equipment. Ideal candidates will have 1+ years experience and hold current BLS, ARRT (M), SCRQSA (M), and SC state licensure. The role requires independent work within a fast-paced environment, emphasizing teamwork, communication, and a positive attitude.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Minimum 1 year mammography experience; first-timers considered
- Current BLS certification
- ARRT (M) and SCRQSA (M) certifications required
- Valid South Carolina license prior to start date
- Proficient in operating Siemens Revelations and Hologic Dimension equipment (hard requirement)
- Ability to perform both screening and diagnostic mammograms
Location:Situated in Goose Creek, South Carolina, this facility serves a diverse patient population in a suburban setting. The area combines a friendly, community-focused atmosphere with convenient access to urban amenities and beautiful outdoor spaces.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a minimum of 20 screening mammograms daily, with a daily caseload around 55 patients
- Adhere to facility performance expectations and quality standards
- Float between East Cooper and West Ashley sister facilities as needed
- Maintain excellent communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced outpatient clinic
- Accommodate shift adjustments when required to manage overtime without incurring it
- Participate in unit orientation and comply with facility protocols, including charting in Epic
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm (5x8-hour shifts)
- No weekend or on-call responsibilities
- Floating between facilities may be required
Additional Details:
- Scrub color: Any pink or dark teal top with black bottoms
- No radiation badge required
- Orientation on-site, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
- Hurricane season assignments may apply June through November
- Locals considered with prior approval
- Contract position with possible block schedule accommodation
