We are seeking a highly skilled, reliable, and Master-level Automotive Technician to join our dedicated two-bay independent repair facility. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with the owner, perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs, and step into a leadership role focused on maintaining a high standard of quality and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who values a clean, efficient workspace and is interested in future shop management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expert Diagnostics and Repair: Perform complex diagnostics, maintenance, and repair on a wide variety of vehicles using advanced technical skills and equipment.
- Parts Management: Efficiently research, look up, and order necessary parts, ensuring accuracy and timely receipt to maintain workflow.
- Quality and Efficiency: Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-conscious work environment that promotes maximum shop efficiency.
- Team Support: Actively participate in overall shop operations, including general maintenance, organization, and other tasks outside of direct repair work, supporting a cohesive team atmosphere.
- Future Leadership: Serve as the designated leader during the owner's absence, overseeing operations and maintaining workflow integrity.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Certification: Current Master Automobile Technician Certification (or actively working toward completion).
- Experience: Proven experience in a professional shop environment, demonstrating expertise in all phases of automotive repair.
- Tooling: Must possess a comprehensive set of professional-grade tools appropriate for a Master Technician.
- Dependability: Possess a valid state driver's license and reliable personal transportation.
- Core Values: Must be inherently trustworthy, reliable, and dependable with a strong commitment to ethical work practices.
Additional:
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
