Job DescriptionTRC Talent Solutions is currently looking to fill a Mobile Fleet Technician. As a Mobile Fleet Technician, you’ll perform on-site preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel engines and heavy-duty trucks directly at customer locations. This role requires strong mechanical proficiency, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to work effectively in diverse environments and weather conditions. You’ll play a key role in ensuring all work meets DOT requirements and internal quality standards.Key Responsibilities

Perform high-quality repairs and preventive maintenance on diesel engines and heavy-duty trucks following manufacturer specifications.

Conduct detailed vehicle inspections to identify worn, damaged, or failing components.

Develop and execute repair plans based on diagnostic findings, including estimating labor hours and required parts.

Diagnose and repair electrical systems, A/C systems, emissions controls, and other diesel engine components.

Complete PM services, DOT inspections, and all required documentation with accuracy and thoroughness

Utilize diagnostic software and follow electronic repair procedures.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace on customer sites and within the company vehicle.

Keep accurate records for invoicing, repair history, and warranty claims.

Use all company tools properly and maintain a personal tool inventory in accordance with company policy.

Provide support and mentorship to junior technicians when needed.

Follow all safety, EPA, and company policies and procedures
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3 years of diesel repair experience, 5-7 years preferred, ideally within fleet.
- Education: Technical school certificate or equivalent hands-on experience.
Licenses & Certifications (Required or Preferred)

Valid Driver’s License

DOT Medical Card (or ability to obtain)

ASE Certifications: T4 (Brakes), T7 (HVAC), T8 (PM)

MACS 609 or equivalent mobile A/C certification
