Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving an elementary school setting in Lancaster, CA. This position will span from August through January, covering a maternity leave. The caseload includes approximately 55 students, focusing on speech services, Resource Specialist Program (RSP), and students with Extensive Support Needs (ESN). This role is full-time, requiring 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy to a diverse elementary student caseload
  • Provide targeted interventions for students requiring RSP and ESN services
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Document progress and maintain accurate service records
  • Utilize virtual platforms effectively to serve students with Extensive Support Needs

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification or license
  • Demonstrated experience working with ESN students in a virtual setting is a mandatory requirement
  • Familiarity with elementary school environments and educational speech therapy services
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to support multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to manage a caseload of 55 students efficiently
