Legal: Sullivan & Cromwell LLP seeks Associate (Sr), Litigation Practice Grp, in NY, NY under supervision of partners: identify legal issues & strategies, advise clients, & oversee case mgmt in complex comm'l & intellectual property litigation & arbitration disputes, incl those involving multiple claims, parties, or jurisdictions, & participate in all tchncl aspects of patent litigation, incl claim construction, patent validity & patent infringement issues, & assertion of affirmative defenses incl inequitable conduct. Req'mnts: J.D. or foreign equiv. Exp in job offered or rel. occupation must incl at least 3 yrs of exp at an int'l law firm: researching & drafting pleadings, briefs, motions, & other submissions in comm'l & intellectual property litigation involving multiple claims, parties, & jurisdictions in complex int'l comm'l arbitrations; participating in all tchncl aspects of patent litigation, incl claim construction, patent validity & patent infringement issues, & assertion of affirmative defenses incl inequitable conduct; identifying & anlyzg legal issues w/in complex, multi-party litigation & arbitration disputes, incl issues relating to int'l arbitration rules & procedures; working w/expert witnesses, incl prep of expert reports & prep for depositions & trial testimony; & assisting in prep of direct & cross-exam of witnesses at trial.
