About the Role

I’m building a modern, tech-forward mortgage brokerage in Texas and I’m looking for an experienced Loan Officer who wants to play a key role in shaping the company. This is an opportunity for a senior LO who enjoys mentoring, wants more freedom in their process, and likes the idea of helping build something from the ground up.

I’m looking for someone who does most of their business in Texas, knows how to navigate complex files, and is open to answering questions and guiding a newer LO.

This role is fully remote and flexible.

What You’ll Do

• Originate your own loans with full compensation
• Act as a mentor and resource on challenging files
• Assist with structuring, reviewing, and troubleshooting when needed
• Serve as a founding member helping set standards for workflow, systems, and best practices
• Help build out our operations, borrower experience, and brand identity
• Work closely with me to grow the company in a way that reflects both of us
• Strengthen relationships with Realtors and referral partners

I want the person in this position to be part of the foundation. If we grow this the right way, there is a real possibility of exploring equity or a long-term ownership path in the future. Nothing is promised now, but the intention is to grow this together and create something meaningful.

Compensation

• You keep full comp on your production
• Small flat fee per closed loan to cover company cost
• When you assist on my files, you are added as LOA and receive a portion
• No desk fees or monthly fees
• Borrower-paid processing to keep overhead minimal

This setup is designed to give you maximum earning potential while helping build the business.

What You Bring

• Active NMLS license in Texas
• Proven experience as a Loan Officer
• Strong knowledge of Conventional, FHA, VA, and refinances
• A willingness to mentor and collaborate
• A helpful, patient, and team-focused mindset
• High standards for communication and borrower experience
• Interest in helping build something that can grow into a long-term leadership role

Pay Range: $175,000 – $350,000 (Commission Only, OTE)
