Accountant/Tax Preparer

Growing CPA firm located in Quincy, Illinois has an opportunity for an accountant/tax preparer interested in individual and small business tax preparation and accounting.

Job Description – Individual will work directly with clients to provide tax preparation and accounting services to primarily individuals and privately owned businesses. Tax preparer will work with a variety of clients in various industries.

Position includes competitive pay based on experience, health and life insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and flexible work schedule outside of tax filing season.

Individual must have prior experience in income tax preparation. A bachelor’s degree in an accounting or related field is preferred, but not required. You must have a willingness to work hard with attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality. You must be able to work overtime, including Saturday’s, during the tax filing season (Jan – Apr).

Compensation is commensurate with experience. Salary package range $50,000 -80,000
