Pharmacy Technician
Location: California
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Job Type: Full-Time | On-Site
Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Specialty Pharmacy Technician to support a growing segment of healthcare focused on complex and specialized therapies. In this role, you will assist with patient communications, prescription fulfillment, order processing, and inventory support under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with patients, prescribers, and internal team members via phone, email, and fax
- Fulfill prescriptions, package medications for shipment, and process copays
- Research and assist with financial support options for patients
- Perform order entry and refill requests under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory, storage, and documentation including labels, log sheets, and reports
- Participate in on-call rotation based on staffing needs
- Ensure accuracy, compliance, and exceptional service during all patient interactions
Required Qualifications
- Active California Pharmacy Technician License (must be current and valid)
- Minimum 6 months of experience as a pharmacy technician
- Strong computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheets
- Excellent verbal and written customer service skills
- High school diploma or GED (verifiable)
