Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular Float Pool position requiring active OK or compact RN license and experience in Med-Surg and StepDown settings.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Provide care in the Cardiovascular Float Pool within a hospital setting
- Care for a variety of patients with both simple and complex health needs
- Assigned to med-surg and stepdown units as needed
- Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts, totaling 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend shifts and rotating holiday coverage are required
- 13-week contract with the option to renew
- Deliver nursing care, monitor physiological data, administer medications, and support physicians during procedures
- Responsible for documentation and coordinating care with families and other staff members
- Must be able to delegate tasks to support staff and make referrals as needed
\n \n Requirements\n
- Active RN license from Oklahoma or a compact state is required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association required
- Minimum of one year RN experience in med-surg and stepdown settings
- Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required
- Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills are necessary
- Applicants must live more than 50 miles from the facility (no locals)
