Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A registered nurse with medical-surgical experience is needed to support patient care in a well-organized hospital setting. This contract position offers a day shift schedule with a balanced mix of weekday and weekend work.

Schedule/Hours
Day shift: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
Must be available to work every other weekend and every other holiday as needed
No on-call responsibilities
No block scheduling, and a maximum required time off of one week
Qualifications and Desired Experience
Current Tennessee RN license required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification mandatory
Minimum of 1 year experience in nursing, with preference given to candidates with 2 years of experience on a medical-surgical floor
Comfortable working in a unit with 18-24 beds and a patient ratio of approximately 1:6
Experience or willingness to work with electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Cerner, Merge, and Powerchart
Responsibilities
Provide compassionate and comprehensive nursing care on the medical-surgical unit
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system
Adhere to unit policies, including wearing the designated navy scrubs
Additional Information
This position requires a floating role within the unit to best meet patient care needs. Submissions will require detailed information including home address and necessary credentials. Candidates must reside at least 50 miles away from the facility.
