Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with ARRT(MR) certification and Siemens experience for a 13-week contract assignment.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in a hospital radiology department, primarily focused on MRI imaging
- Utilizes Siemens MRI equipment
- Day shifts are 4x10 hours from 9:00 AM to 8:30 PM
- Requires working every third weekend
- Floating to the Ridgewood Observation Unit may be required
- Pre-employment and annual modules must be completed as part of onboarding and orientation
- No holiday time off will be approved during the assignment
- Traveler must complete both non-billable and billable modules during and after orientation, per specialty requirements
- Locals are accepted at a lower rate within a 75-mile radius
- All current and future travelers may be required to float to specific offsite locations as needed
- Travelers who have worked in New Jersey in the last seven years must have accurate previous employment information for consideration

- Current ARRT(MR) certification required
- State license required if applicable
- Five years of recent MRI technologist experience preferred
- Experience operating Siemens MRI systems is required
- Proof of full COVID vaccination series and booster required for consideration
- One supervisory or manager reference within the last year is required
- Must be able to begin lab work within two business days of acceptance
- Current NJ state or compact license must be in hand at time of consideration
- Prior permanent employees are not eligible for travel assignments
