Construction Project Manager
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage a variety of construction projects, including public works, government, school, and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, while also maintaining compliance with local regulations and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage construction projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets while ensuring adherence to them.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
- Communicate project status to stakeholders and provide updates on progress and challenges.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
- Facilitate meetings with project teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry.
- Experience managing large public projects ($15M+)
- Strong knowledge of public works, government, and/or school construction projects.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control procedures.
