Are you an experienced estimator with a passion for precision and problem-solving? We're looking for an Estimator II to join our team and play a key role in developing accurate, competitive bids for large-scale and complex construction projects. This position offers the opportunity to work on high-profile projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to strategic decision-making that drives success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for complex projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
  • Analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to develop a clear understanding of scope.
  • Build comprehensive construction plans that serve as the foundation for estimates.
  • Perform precise quantity take-offs and validate material and labor requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve design, scheduling, and rate challenges during bid preparation.
  • Present and reconcile estimates with leadership and clients, ensuring alignment and transparency.
  • Stay current on industry trends, pricing strategies, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Participate in site visits and project meetings to gather insights and confirm project details.
  • Develop preliminary schedules and resource plans to support project execution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience (4+ years in estimating or similar roles).
  • Proven experience with complex construction projects and advanced estimating techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in HCSS HeavyBid, Microsoft Office, and familiarity with tools like Primavera P6, CAD, and AGTEK.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across teams and with clients.
