A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Full-Time, On-Site, Retail Staff Pharmacist in Viroqua, WI!
We are seeking a dedicated Retail Staff Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team and provide high-quality pharmacy services to patients, visitors, and the community. This position is primarily based in our Medical Office Building pharmacy, with the ability to fill in at our other local retail pharmacy location as needed.
You will play a key role in ensuring safe, accurate prescription dispensing, delivering exceptional patient counseling, and supporting daily pharmacy operations.
Retail Staff Pharmacist Compensation
- The pay rate for this role is $68.00/hr
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Retail Staff Pharmacist Highlights
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- The required availability for this position:
o Weekdays: Various shifts between 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
o Saturday Rotation: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
o No major holidays required unless otherwise scheduled
Retail Staff Pharmacist Responsibilities
· Accurately dispense prescription medications in accordance with all federal and state regulations
· Provide professional counseling to patients on medication therapy, side effects, dosing, and safe usage
· Work collaboratively with providers, nursing staff, and pharmacy team members
· Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with pharmacy policies
· Support inventory management, ordering, and medication storage procedures
· Deliver excellent customer service while promoting a positive patient experience
· Fill in at the organization’s additional retail pharmacy location as required
Retail Staff Pharmacist Requirements
· Active Pharmacist License in the State of Wisconsin (WI)
· Strong knowledge of retail pharmacy operations and state/federal regulations
· Excellent communication, customer service, and patient-interaction skills
· Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
· High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
· Previous retail or outpatient pharmacy experience
· Familiarity with pharmacy management systems and EMR platforms
