Type: Full-Time / Mission EssentialAbout the RoleGovMed Wellness JV is seeking professional, detail-oriented Verifying Officials (VOs) to support the U.S. Army’s DEERS/RAPIDS and CAC/ID Card operations at Fort Liberty and Pope Army Airfield. You will be part of a high-visibility, mission-critical team delivering world-class customer service to Soldiers, retirees, family members, and DoD civilians.This is a mission-essential position supporting ID card services that must continue even during emergencies or increased operations tempo.ResponsibilitiesAs a certified Verifying Official, you will:
- Operate RAPIDS/DEERS workstations to issue CAC, USID, Teslin, and dependent ID cards
- Verify eligibility, documentation, and entitlement for all card types
- Complete CAC PIN resets, DEERS updates, and customer record corrections
- Staff customer service windows, appointment lines, and phone support
- Maintain strict accuracy, meeting required timelines (e.g., 85% within 15–20 minutes)
- Ensure proper documentation of all actions per AFI 36-3026, AR 600-8-14, CPS, and RAPIDS User Guide
- Provide professional, courteous service to every customer
- Maintain safeguards over government-furnished equipment and card stock
- Submit required annual training (AT Level I, OPSEC, IA Awareness, RAPIDS recertifications)
Minimum Requirements
- U.S. Citizen
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a NACI background check (mandatory for CAC issuance)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Clean professional appearance
- Ability to work Monday–Friday, 0800–1700
- Comfortable working in a high-volume, high-accuracy environment
- Must complete required RAPIDS VO Desktop and Deployable Certifications (we provide training)
Highly Preferred
- Prior DEERS/RAPIDS Verifying Official experience
- Military, military spouse, or DoD civilian ID card office experience
- Experience with DMDC systems, RAPIDS 7, DEERS, ID Card Office Online
- Experience in personnel services, HR, or customer service roles
- Ability to remain calm and professional during heavy customer flow
