Position: Repair Technician
Location: East Side of El Paso, 79936
Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent
Pay: $20.50/hr
Schedule: Mon.- Fri. (Overtime may be required based on business needs).
Language: English | Bilingual (preferred)
Position Summary
Responsible for repairing faults in finished products by following detailed instructions based on prior diagnostics and analysis completed by the test technician. This role ensures all products meet quality and performance standards before release.
Key Responsibilities
- Document all repairs performed, including root causes, corrective actions, and parts used.
- Perform preliminary analysis of products to identify defects, faults, or performance issues.
- Diagnose and repair faults found in finished products in accordance with established procedures.
- Verify product functionality after repairs to ensure quality and compliance with company standards.
- Communicate recurring issues or complex faults to the test technician or supervisor for further evaluation.

- Consistently meet daily repair productivity and quality standards.
- Maintain organized work processes and uphold quality control expectations.
- Perform precise and thorough pre-analysis to support correct fault identification.
- Follow all repair procedures and instructions with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ensure repairs are completed accurately, efficiently, and within the required timeframes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Mechatronics; 2 years preferred.
- Strong willingness to learn and continuously develop technical expertise.
- Basic office and computer skills for accurate reporting and documentation.
- Excellent attention to detail and dedication to maintaining quality standards.
- Highly committed, proactive, and able to work independently or collaboratively.
- NOM-022-STPS-2008/ANSI-ESD S20.20:2014 (Basic), RBA:2021 / SA8000:2014 Business Alliance
- High school diploma or equivalent; higher education or technical certifications are a plus. Education level may be substituted with relevant work experience.
- Responsible (Basic), Security Awareness, Use of Social Networks, Cultural Diversity Awareness, Code of conduct, Integrated Systems Cultural Diversity, Code of Conduct, Integrated Management Systems.
Training (Licenses, Programs, Certificates)
- Responsible (Basic) – Workplace responsibility and ethics.
- Security Awareness – Information security protocols and best practices.
- RBA:2021 / SA8000:2014 – Social Accountability and Business Alliance compliance.
- Code of Conduct – Understanding and adherence to company policies and ethical standards.
- Cultural Diversity Awareness – Promoting inclusivity and understanding in the workplace.
- NOM-022-STPS-2008 / ANSI-ESD S20.20:2014 (Basic) – Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) safety standards.
- Safe Use of Social Networks / Social Media Awareness – Guidelines for professional and secure social media use.
Skills & Competencies
- Skilled in handling and operating soldering irons and heat guns.
- Ability to perform precise electronic component repairs and rework.
- Proficient in using voltmeters and other electronic measurement systems.
- Strong understanding of basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting techniques.

- English-Spanish fluency preferred.
