Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a high school setting in Providence, RI, on a contract basis for the upcoming school year (NSY). This role is ideal for a certified professional looking to support students communication and language development within an educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for high school students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
- Provide direct therapy services to address speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and prepare required documentation.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute professional insights.
Qualifications:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP - CCC).
- Valid School Speech-Language Pathology certification.
- Experience working with adolescents in a school environment is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively work with students, families, and educational staff.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and maintain organized documentation.
